Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026. This page explains which cookies and similar technologies ROYLINA uses and why.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use localStorage, a similar browser feature, for remembering your preferences. Neither can run programs or access your files.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in as you move between pages. Expires when your session ends.
- CSRF token — protects forms against cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Remember me — only if you tick "Remember me" at login; keeps you signed in on this device.
Preferences (stored in your browser)
- Theme — your night/day mode choice.
- Feed view — grid or list layout preference.
- Tour & consent flags — so we don't show you the welcome tour or the cookie banner twice.
Third parties
- Stripe / PayPal — set their own cookies during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
- Google reCAPTCHA — when enabled on login/registration forms, Google sets cookies to distinguish humans from bots.
- YouTube / Vimeo embeds — we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which avoids tracking cookies until you press play.
What we don't use
We run no advertising trackers and no cross-site behavioural profiling. We don't sell data to ad networks.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent login from working. Your preference choices can be reset by clearing site data for roylina.com.
