Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 June 2026. By creating an account or using ROYLINA you agree to these terms.

1. The service

ROYLINA provides a community platform for beauty professionals and enthusiasts: discussions, portfolio critiques, anonymous price statistics, a professional directory, challenges, private messaging, a points programme and a digital marketplace. We may improve or change features over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
One account per person. Accounts created to manipulate votes, prices or points will be removed.
You must be at least 16 to use ROYLINA.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant us a licence to display it on the platform — that's what makes the site work.
Only upload photos of work you actually did, and only if you have the right to share them.
We may remove content that breaks our Community Guidelines and suspend repeat offenders.

4. The Price Index

Submit only your genuine prices. Submissions are published exclusively as anonymous aggregate statistics. Deliberately false submissions poison data the whole community relies on and will lead to removal of your submissions and possibly your account. Statistics are provided "as is" for guidance — they are not financial advice.

5. Verified UK Pro

Verification confirms that we have seen a qualification certificate and a current insurance document for the services listed. It is renewed every 12 months. It is not a guarantee of work quality, and clients should always make their own judgement. Submitting forged documents results in a permanent ban.

6. Marketplace & payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Prices are shown in GBP.
Sellers are responsible for the products they list and for delivering what's described. We may remove listings that break the rules or the law.
Digital products are generally non-refundable once downloaded, except where required by law or where the product is materially not as described.

7. Points

Points are a loyalty feature, not money. Earning rules, exchange rates and cash-out thresholds are shown on your Points page and may be adjusted with notice. Points obtained through abuse (fake accounts, spam content) will be removed. Points have no value outside ROYLINA.

8. Liability

ROYLINA is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions made based on community content or statistics. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

9. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licences for published aggregate data, liability limits) survive termination.
