MUA quoted me £280 for "bridal" but £95 for the same look as a guest at the same wedding. Is the bridal markup real or just because it's a wedding?

Getting married next spring and doing my sums. Enquired with a MUA whose work I love and got her price list back:

Bride: £280

Bridal party / guests: £95 each

Trial: £120 (separate)

Now, I've seen her non-wedding pricing on Instagram and a "full glam" event booking is around £110. So the bride's face is apparently £170 more than the exact same glam on a Saturday night out.

Before anyone jumps on me — I'm genuinely not accusing her of anything, and I know weddings involve more planning. I'm just trying to understand what I'm actually paying for so I can budget honestly (and decide whether to book her for my party too or just for me).

Is it:

- longer wear products / different kit for 14 hours + photos

- the fact she's blocking out a whole morning and can't take other work

- pre-wedding admin, timings, communication over months

- or just... wedding pricing, because it's a wedding

MUAs — happy to hear it straight, I'd genuinely rather understand it than resent it. And brides who've been through it, did you book your artist for the whole party or just yourself? Did the bridesmaids doing their own actually look off in the photos or was it fine?
