Brow lamination grew out weird and now one brow has a kink in it... normal?

Had my brows laminated about 5 weeks ago, loved them for the first month. Now they're growing out and my left brow has this section where the hairs literally kink sideways halfway along. Right brow is fine, growing out normally.

 

I haven't done anything different to them, same routine both sides. Googled it and got nothing useful, just salons telling me to book another lamination which... obviously.

 

Is this just a thing that happens when lamination grows out? Will they sort themselves out or do these hairs need to shed and regrow before they behave again? Slightly worried I've damaged them somehow because I did sleep face down on them quite a bit the first week which you're apparently not meant to do.

 

Anyone had this and can tell me how long the awkward phase lasted?
