Hybrid lashes only lasting about 10 days for me, is that normal or should I switch artist?

Been getting hybrid lashes for about 6 months now from the same girl, always loved the look when I leave but lately I'm noticing pretty significant gaps by day 10, definitely more than half gone by 2 weeks. I rebook every 2-3 weeks so I'm basically going back with barely any lash left half the time.

My natural lashes seem fine, not shedding more than usual that I can tell. I don't rub my eyes much, I do sleep on my side though which I know probably isn't helping. I switched my mascara... wait no I don't wear mascara over them at all so that's not it either.

Is 10 days just normal shedding for hybrid or does this sound like an application issue? Don't want to jump ship on my girl if this is just how it goes, but also feels like other people I know seem to get a lot more length of wear out of theirs.

What's actually realistic to expect for retention with hybrid sets?
